Bridges

A resin retained bridge is often the best option when there is a single front tooth missing and is a laboratory made porcelain tooth stuck onto the back of another one.

As more teeth are missing or when the gap is at the back then a conventional bridge is often the best option.
This sort of bridge is essentially a laboratory made row of porcelain crowns and is often used to replace dentures.

Dentures

Dentures are usually made when there are several or all of the teeth missing.
There are several types of dentures available and again the best one for you will depend the number of teeth missing and the condition of the remaining ones.
Chrome dentures and acrylic dentures the options when there are several teeth remaining.

A “flexi-denture” is a relatively modern denture used to fill smaller gap and often a great favourite for its wearers.

Full dentures are obviously the choice when all the teeth are missing in an arch. Some younger dentists have trouble making these dentures and avoid them, however if we take your time, don’t skip any steps and use a good dental technician everything works out well.
